My career and life have been filled with many fortunate twists and turns. Completing a degree in public relations unexpectedly led me to my two professional functions: graphic design and marketing. Early career internships—one for an NGO in Indonesia and the other for a sustainable fashion boutique in my college town—were the stepping stones to my future in Chicago and then Berlin.
The latter internship sparked in me a desire to pursue a career in ethical fashion. I eventually channeled this into co-founding Balodana, the first online marketplace for sustainable, custom-made women’s clothing.
These days, I live in Berlin and work with both European and American clients in industries such as tech, startups, non-profit, and fashion. During my off time, you can catch me having belly laughs with friends or strolling with an armful of clothes rescued from Berlin’s many ‘zu verschenken’ (for free) boxes.
